If you’ve attended the National Cattle- men’s Beef Association or Texas and Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association trade shows, you’ve seen Sharee in the Greeley Hat Works booth, visiting with customers and helping them find the perfect hat. “What I enjoy most about representing Greeley Hat Works at the trade shows is getting to meet so many amazing people from all different walks of life,” she says. “A lot of them become regulars and you become really good friends with them. One thing I have learned from Trent [ John- son, owner] is how important relationships are, and he treats every person he meets and interacts with the same amount of importance and attention to detail,” Sharee says. “I believe what makes Greeley Hat Works so unique is every- one gets to experience the same customized and personalized service. But I think getting to meet so many great people from all over the world is my favorite part about representing Greeley Hat Works!” Meet the “Bling Lady” in the Greeley Hat Works shop. Cassey Moran leads the Greeley Hat Works “Bling Team” as the trim lead. “I like to say we make them pretty,” she says about what she and her team does. She’s also in charge of making sure the workflow through the shop in moving smoothly, and she keeps the inventory up-to-date so everything is close at hand as a hat is being made. “I have never enjoyed a job as much as I do now. I used to be a caregiver, but every day here is creative. It’s fun,” she says. “The people are hilarious. The work is never the same. Even if it is the same, there are always differences in material or the flow of things. It’s just fun and creative. The best place to work.” Her favorite part about her job is doing specialty trim.“So when we have customers who want different whip stitches on the brim, or I have started to sew custom liners. I’ve done a couple ‘80s Hair Band liners inside the hats. But anything that’s unique to the customer. That’s my favorite part.” The third member of the Greeley Hat Works featured ladies team is a certified professional trainer and performance coach. Kelly Altschwager ownsWesternWorkouts, an in-person and online coaching service geared toward the busy competitive horse- man or rancher who wants to improve their physical and nutri- tional health but doesn’t have access to a gym. Kelly grew up under a cowboy hat, showing horses in most of the different disciplines. She came to work at Greeley Hat Works through a mutual friend and spent five years at the front of the shop, as well as working at trade shows. You’ll meet Kelly in the Greeley Hat Works booth at the National Finals Rodeo and at the Art of the Cowgirl.“I absolutely love getting to help people create their dream hat. I think it’s very similar to helping people reach their goals in health and wellness and riding,” she says. “When you help someone create their hat, you take that pattern and really help them create their vision. You can watch their face. Not trying to cram on a hat that came off the shelf. It just goes on like butter and that smile they have is pretty rewarding.”  July 29-30 High Plains Journal Cattle U & Trade Show Dodge City, Kan. www.cattleu.net Aug. 10-12 Cattle Industry Convention and NCBA Trade Show Nashville, Tenn. www.ncba.org Nov. 10-12 USMEF Strategic Planning Conference Carlsbad, Calif. www.usmef.org American Farmers and Ranchers Organization... 11 Capitol Land & Livestock.... 15 Cattle Feeders Hall of Fame.................... 47 Cobett Company................33 FCS Manufacturing Inc.......33 Johnson Concrete Products.......................... 25 Kunafin............................... 25 Merck Animal Health............ 2 Micronutrients. ................... 17 Midcontinent Livestock Supplements...................39 Multimin USA Inc.................. 7 National Cattlemen’s Beef Association...................... 48 Rawhide Portable Corral.... 19 Roto-Mix...............................3 Servi-Tech..........................31 Stuart Products.................. 27 Texas Feed Fat................... 27 Turnkey Computer Systems..........................23
