Over more hours of the day, cattle consume smaller meals, more often, while maintaining a higher and more stable rumen pH. These consumption patterns and a unique shift in the rumen microbial population lead to a smoother adaptation to the finishing diet. Cattle started on RAMP and finished with Sweet Bran as a part of the finishing ration maintain better rumen health with increased feed intakes and rate of gain — for more profitable performance.
