Hundreds of producers, feeders and allied industries were on hand for the big gathering at the Embassy Suites hotel. Look for full coverage of OCA’s convention in the Oct.-Nov. issue of CALF News .  Celebrating Jim and Julie Norwood's wedding June 1 were Greg and Andrea Johnsrud, Bob and Kay Lee, Jim and Sondra Whitt, Jim and Julie Norwood, and Blake and Kirsten Angell.  A healthy crowd showed up to enjoy the Sandhills Ranch Expo in Bassett, Neb., June 18-19. In between thunder showers, folks inspected machinery, visited with neighbors and headed to one of the many lunch stands. See people in the lower center of photograph – the brisket sandwiches are calling their names.  Fair Season Norwood Wedding UNL Yearling Seminar Marketing and managing yearlings was the topic of a seminar hosted by the University of Nebraska Extension Service, July 12. Held at the Calamus Outfitters near Burwell, Neb., the day included a presentation by Clayton Smith of the nearby Price Ranch. Turnout for the event was excellent and the lineup of speakers was impressive.  Oklahoma Cattlemen Showing cattle at the Buffalo County Fair in Kearney, Neb., was great fun for Madden Brabec, Taylon Wagner, Kale Taubenheim and Seth Taubenheim. 
