R.A. is the second generation of his family to participate in the WRCA finals as his father, Rob A. Brown, was on the R.A. Brown ranch rodeo team at the first- ever finals in 1995. Upstream Ranch Cattle The 25th Annual WRCA World Championship Ranch Rodeo is in the books. The November 12-15 Amarillo Civic Center event saw Jolly Ranch/S&L Cattle Co., of Lamar and Agate, Colo., crowned as 2020 World Champion Team. Reserve World Champion was Thompson Ranch of Munday, Texas. Third place team was Beachner Bros. Livestock of Parsons, Kan. Top Hand was Troy Higgs of Lonesome Pine Ranch. Top Horse was Third Carbon Cutter owned and riden by Buster Frierson. Due to COVID-19 considerations, the rodeo was expanded to six performances to accommodate fewer seats per performance.
