The company responsible for the software, headquartered in Canada, was rejected by the state of Texas not only last year but as far back as 2013 for inadequate security measures. With an upcoming headline,“Biden Inaugurated as 46 th President,” I am frustrated and actually scared not only of his response to the present pandemic but everything that makes America great. Just a week before the election, I was caught yelling at my television over a political ad promoting Biden by a trucker representing the Teamsters Union. Didn’t he hear Biden say he was doing away with fossil fuels? What did he think that rig he drives runs on? As COVID-19 persists with cases still less than 10 per- cent of the population, will the other 90 percent be forced to cower in our basements as he did for the last six months? With the end of 2020 approaching, not nearly soon enough for most of us, the new powers that be want us to isolate and not gather together for the holidays. I know my family will be gathering for the Christmas season and sending 2020 into the past, probably submitting to face masks and resembling as the late Guy Clark wrote, “Desperadoes Waiting on the Train.” 
