He also serves as a dealer for WW Livestock Systems. WW Livestock Systems Casey Ledbetter from Missouri showed me the most recent version of the WWHydraulic Calf Table. Truly a back-saving marvel, the table can handle calves weighing up to 650 pounds. It can be portable and can be used with scales underneath. On the market for only the past eight months, it was tested exten- sively on a large Florida cattle operation. Ledbetter explained that a total of six designs were tried at the southern cow outfit, and the resulting chute is the unit that best survived the test. Easy to use and safe, options include a hydraulic leg puller for bull calves. It comes with a standard tray for vaccine, knives and other equipment. The tray sits on a boom that swings to the most convenient place for workers. Hydraulics move as well, making adjustments easy in any loca- tion. There is access to the neck for appropriate vaccination. The outfit, without power unit, retails for $5,200. Ramsey Ranch supply of Bassett is a local dealer.
