Hailing from Greeley, Kan., she is director of communications for the Red Angus Association of America (RAAA). Working remotely from her home, Fro- bose is in charge of all communication direc- tives, including press releases, social media, media outreach and assistance with the association’s website. She’s a contributing editor to the Red Angus publication, ARA, and helps coordinate national ad campaigns. Eight months into her job, Frobose likes working with Red Angus producers the best, saying they make a worthwhile and interesting group who get positive results from hard work. She has particularly enjoyed attending spring bull sales and appreciates the varia- tion in her daily activities. Frobose has spent her whole life as a Kansan, save one year’s adventure Down Under in Australia. She earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Animal Science from Kansas State University. Previous to working at the RAAA, she spent a year with the Beef Cattle Institute in Manhattan, Kan., and more than four years working with the National Cattlemen’s Beef Association on issues and crisis management. Frobose is married to Hyatt and they have an 18-month- old daughter, Oakley Ann. Balancing a full life is sometimes a challenge; the couple likes to travel internationally when possible. She rodeos as well, running barrels and competing in breakaway roping. An avid K-State fan, Frobose’s always glad to follow the purple. “I’ve been told numerous times that I’m lucky, and that may be true, to an extent,” she says.“But I was raised with the mindset that luck happens when you’ve put in countless hours of preparation and are presented with an undeniably impres- sive opportunity.
