Borders 

They say good fences make good neighbors

And I suppose the saying is true.

They’re good for keeping the unwanted out

And keep in what you want to.

Gates are fine to control the access,

To be opened or closed as there’s need.

But they should never be left standing wide open

To come and go as you please.
