Amari Seiferman lives in Shawnee, Kan., with her husband, Ben, and 2-year-old daughter, Brogan. She grew up in northwest Oklahoma with two sisters and four brothers.
When Amari and her husband are not working, they are creating experiences and memories with their daughter. Their faith is important to them, and they enjoy everything outdoors. Sports, reading, cooking and family time are shared.
Their life includes two rescue cats, “who allow the Seifermans to live in their home,” Amari says.
As Certified Hereford Beef (CHB) president and CEO, Amari says the goal of the program is to create brand awareness and develop markets for product distribution. They provide industry partners with marketing and educational resources to support them in the sale and promotion of Certified Hereford Beef. CHB collaborates with partners in all segments of the industry – producers, meat packers, further processors, foodservice and retail, restaurants and groceries. Additionally, they work in the export industry in the same capacity.
Amari says her resiliency and work ethic came from the small-town setting in which she grew up.
“I believe what you think about, you bring about. So, make sure your thoughts are in the right place,” she says. She is also a firm believer that it’s not what happens to you in life, it’s what you do about it. “Challenges come in all forms; find the strength and courage to do what you think is right and give it your all.”
