Trade Shows
By Chris McClure Contributing Editor
It’s great to see old friends again;
Too many are out to pasture.
They’ve been replaced by a younger crowd
Or gone to the ever-after.
Those tags we wear ought to be
Just a tad bit bigger.
They need to list our pedigree
So we don’t have to sit and figure
Where and when we first met
Or just how long it’s been
Since last we saw each other
And who we worked for then.
It’s funny how the young ones
All want to know you now
Because if you are wandering around the show
You’re likely the “Big Boss” now.
